Are you suggesting toddlers can read? Or that they should be fully aware of all the choking hazards around them?
As I've pointed out, most of the people in this thread are uninformed on this subject. They should all die?
The idea of putting a warning label on something meant to be placed in your mouth that it can be dangerous is beyond contemptable.
If someone is not paying attention to make sure that their toddler is not going to choke; they should not have children.
The toddler themselves should not be aware of the hazards, but their parent is a moron if they do not consider everything a potential choking hazard and make self guided action to prevent the choking hazard.
And I have yet to see anything showing anyone in this thread is unaware. More to the point, people here seem to be advocating self responsiblity as opposed to governmental pampering. Either way it should be self responsibility to prevent choking hazards, and the fact that people think that food should have choking hazard labels proves that humanity is full of idiots who deserve nothing but contempt and death.

It's insignificant to other hazards children face every day. If we spend $1million on making hot dogs safer or labelling them as dangerous to save 2-3 lives per year versus spending $1 million to make car seats safer and save 30-40 lives per year guess which is more significant?
This I can get behind and agree with.

It would let the parents know that these are foods to watch out for, which is the point.
Why should that be someone else's problem. If a parent does not know to make food less likely to be choked on... not what I think should be a viable use of taxpayer dollars.
When my daughter was a toddler... hot dogs were cut in hald down the middle, and then each half was bisected. Then each half of that was bisected. Resulting in 8 french fry shaped pieces of hot dog. This was from 2 first time parents. We did not bother to read up on it first, it just made sense. It fit better into a toddlers hand and it gave her something hand sized to hold on to while eating dinner. Hell even to this day if my daughter is going to eat smoked sausage or something she peels the skin off before eating it.
It really boils down to f**k people who need the government to tell them how to raise their kids, or how to be a human being. Plain and simple. If you cannot think for yourself; you have no business creating a life which is supposed to learn from you how to think for itself.
