In the States, we would use whine, instead of the more British whinge.
They invented the language, so I'm having a hard time putting a right or wrong in here.
Sidenote: Someone I do not know, recently identified himself in a class I took (for work) as an ABC, American Born Chinese. I chuckled and thought of you.
Very interesting... When you whine here you tend to use more higher pitched sounds which closely resemble words and possibly puppy cries... I tend to avoid whine cause people always asks you if you want "cheese with that whine", gets annoying after a while. Whinge is the more coherent verbal version of the same protest.
ABC actually works here as well hehe ^-^.
If I had a dollar for every "It's called english cause it was origionally invented by people from england!" argument in regards to the right and wrongs of the english language with my damn american guild mates... hmm... I could totally get a computer upgrade
p.s. you guys still drive on the wrong side of the road =P
