When someone has you by the hair, there are some really simple and effective techniques for forcing them to release, regardless of how big or strong they are. Just pop over to You Tube and do a search for "escape hair grab". Basically, you just hold their hand against your head, and spin your body around to twist their elbow and wrist joints into weak/vulnerable positions. Here's an example for a grab from behind:

I try not to associate with people with violent tendencies. Just not my lifestyle to be around them for any length of time. I can understand why some people like guys with violent tendencies, but again, just not my lifestyle.
