In the future, could the moderators please refrain from taking a potshot with personal comments just prior to locking threads? These petty remarks do little but inflame other posters who now have no recourse, and bring into question the real reasons the moderator has for locking the thread. An example of a non-inflammatory remark would be Mook's in the thread he locked.
In the future, could the moderators please refrain from locking threads in which they are intimately involved in the discourse? Such an action, once again, highlights the moderator's personal biases as a reason for taking action rather than relying in board policy.
