Wow that sword is nice thanks. That's exactly what I needed. I wasnt sure I got exactly how it worked or where the seals came into play. So these dailies are soloable right? Other than the one or two group ones for each faction.

I will be joining a guild but I dont want to drag people to do my low level stuff so I'll probably be trying to get myself as geared as possible on my own.

Yeah. Pretty much all of the conquest dailies are soloable. With the exception of Threat From Above, and Battle Before the Citadel (group).

Tips for jousting:

charge, wheel around, shield breaker, pokepokepoke (until they walk away), repeat. Always keep 3 shield stacks.

That easy.

I could solo Chillmaw (threat from above) as a BM hunter before the 3.1 debacle made BM useless.
I do not believe Battle Before the Citadel is a group quest. It is EASY to solo. It's just much faster in a group.

Man, this has been my luck week and a half. Just won the head off Onyxia 25. A pair of 245 rings doesn't look to shabby on my rotting fleshed hands hehe.

Some armor sets are on MMO-Champ. Kind of disappointing, the hunter set looks like a Tier 3/7 with wood texture and a rhino helm. DK armor always looks the same/terrible. Warrior armor looks very similar to T8.

Claymore of the Prophet is nice if you don't have the gold for a Titansteel Destroyer - the +hit on Destroyer is better.

By the time you do enough quests to buy a Claymore, you'll have gold for a Destroyer, most likely.

All of the valiants dailies are soloable, there is one grouped champion's daily. The grouped daily tend to be exceptionally easy to find groups for, I never have to look for more than 5 minutes before someone starts one up.

At 77 you might have to take some of the dailies a bit slower, but they should be easily doable.

Not sure what you're getting at, the Claymore has more +hit than the destroyer.

The destroyer has *slightly* better top end damage, but if you apply an average weighting scale, the destroyer wins out.

And I would say you'd be hard pressed to save up 1200 g in the time it takes to get 25 champs seals- and that 1200 g will also buy you a set of Spiked Titansteel and a few enchants to boot. Especially when you consider starting the dailies at 77 means you don't get the full gold, but rather a nice chunk of exp per daily.

The "for until cancelled." part is probably a timer that isn't set yet. Likely 10 or 15 seconds.

that hunter T10 set bonus (both 2 and 4) are godly.

I wish they'd make item-set boots. (I know, they haven't done so since TBC, although the original game had some boots and 8-peice item sets.)

The T10 4pc is like 4 free talent points. Double noxious stings.

Even if it is(which is very likely), it is still one of the best hunter bonuses ever created. And it is only the two piece.

2P is eh, Oblit is pretty powerful already though, so it's pretty good.

The 4P is sick. That's a perma 3% increase. I like how the item bonuses are becoming less talent specific, but they seem to becoming just way too powerful at the same time.

Well, it is the last content patch before the expansion...so they're ramping up the power level to ridiculous levels, just like they did with Sunwell and Naxxramas before it.

Druid 4 piece resto bonus is of questionable use in certain types of fights, especially 10 man versions. Plus the set visually looks rather... monstrous. Druidy, yes, but in a corrupted like Felwood sorta way. Maybe that is warranted, coming from Icecrown Citadel, but I think I'd only be purely ok with it if it was from some corrupted Emerald Dream instance or something. :p

Also disappointed with Blizzard's plans to have haste affect hots. A buff in certain ways, yes, but enough of a drawback in other ways that I probably won't be pleased if Blizzard and others try to call it a buff.

--

On jousting! Note that the basic attack Thrust is not tied to the same cooldown as your other 3 abilities. I've done more jousting dailies than I care to admit and have found it works best to use a Thrust after every use of any of the other abilities. It ends up feeling a bit bouncy -- Shield Breaker -> into melee range for Thrust -> back out for another Shield Breaker -> back into melee range for Thrust, etc. Thrust as you Charge into them! Thrust as you refresh your shield.

I am staving off inappropriate jokes now.

And most classes/specs can solo Chillmaw, the only hard tourney daily. Ret Paladin is one. I don't know exactly what sort of gear level you'd need to do it, though. My Enh Shaman manages well with fairly poor gear (worse than his armory shows, even, especially in the weapon category). My hunter manages with worse gear, but only just barely, and I'm pretty sure there's no way he'd manage if he wasn't BM. I'd expect a Ret Pally to manage about equally well as Enh Shaman at the same gear level, as they're very similar, but I can't really say firsthand. As Nephyr said though, it's pretty darn easy to get a group for it (which will often then go on to do a moderately difficult jousting daily at the citadel to speed that up), so if you want to avoid any potentially fatal testing, it's easy enough to manage that way.

I could solo chillmaw if I put on my t5 helm and shoulders for the set bonus as a mm or survival hunter. Never tried BM spec, though.

It's currently a 13% chance. Considering the extreme horribleness of the t9 bonuses, this is a very nice upgrade. Both bonuses are actually quite nice.

I meant the t9 only has that small chance, sorry if I was misunderstood

Any healing class can solo it, and pretty much everyone else can as well depending on how well geared they are.

Cit is easily soloable as well, just a little time consuming. If you know how to joust properly, they shouldn't take off that much of your health. You can do the two jousting dailies back to back without having to heal yourself once if you're good enough. Generally those guys only take off 5-7k health on my mount before they die.
